This notice covers two groups: people who visit this website, and businesses we write to with a website we have built for them.
If you visit this website
This site sets no cookies. If you send the contact form we hold your name, business, phone, email and message so we can reply, and nothing else. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for a short period, and we use the IP address only to limit repeat submissions.
If we wrote to you
Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: we build a website for a local business, show the owner, and ask whether they want it. We hold publicly available business details only, from your public listings, public pages and public reviews, along with a record of what we sent and when.
You can stop this at any time on the Received an email from us? page. That address will not be written to again.
How long we keep things
If you tell us no, we remove the preview straight away and keep only the record needed to make sure we do not write again. Everything else about a lost or lapsed lead is deleted after twelve months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@coscive.co.uk and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
